What do they ask you at the first interview with you spouse at immigration?

I have an interview with immigration this thursday and my husband has to be there since I am getting my green card through marriage.

Has anybody been in that interview? how is it? what do they ask you?

Note: we got married for love and we have a son together.What do they ask you at the first interview with you spouse at immigration?
They ask you simple questions like so how are things going. You have a son together which basically will breeze you through. They'll be able to tell right away if you are together. Bring photos, letters, etc etc. Couples who are married and ';in love'; naturally sit with their knees facing inward to each other. Body language will speak louder than the answers to your questions. No need to be nervous. You'll be fine.What do they ask you at the first interview with you spouse at immigration?
They will want to see things like a joint bank account, photos of you together...... they will ask you questions about eachother's friends and jobs, and the people you both work for, plus some personal questions. The interview has gotten much tougher.
the consul didn't ask us anything about boxers or briefs or color of the bedroom or whatnot. he was super nice actually and we were just conversing.

the first thing he asked us was when and where we got married... how we met... and from that on, his questions were about our relationship. like, how we did our courtship phase... how we saw each other during the relationship... nothing too prying or anything like that. it was just like talking to someone you just met about your own love story.

he didn't really ask to see pics but i offered to show him our wedding album and he looked at it. after he gave back the album, he just told us to have a great life together in the US. my husband and i were like, ';that's it? we have our visa now?'; he laughed and said that we have to wait for it in the mail... but pretty much, yeah, we have the visa and that i could start packing my stuff.

don't worry about it. you have a real marriage so you have nothing to worry about. if it wasn't real and the consul suspects it, he's going to ask more personal questions. plus, you two have a son together so you already less to ';prove'; about having a real marriage.
If you have a true marriage, you will have nothing to worry about. They will ask you questions that a husband and wife would know...things like ';what color is your bedroom carpet?'; What side of the bed do you sleep on?'; ';Boxers or briefs?';
Marie, could you please let me know how it goes! My husband and I have his interview coming up in Janurary. I am extremely nervous. We have been married for 6 years with 2 children. This decision can change our lives forever. Please let me know.
They will ask all those questions. What they should ask is ';How long do you plan on staying married?'; Since the majority of green card marriages are shams.
