Point to your packed suitcases. They'll know then.How would you tell your spouse that the relationship is not working?
Well, I just did it via email, but we live in diff't cities right now.





Seriously, I would simply sit him / her down for a one-on-one uninterrupted conversation. Then I would have consolation sex and say goodbye.


If it's not on good terms I would have him / her served with divorce papers. That would be a pretty good signal.How would you tell your spouse that the relationship is not working?
Tell then EXACTLY what you are feeling, your true feelings and nothing else. No lies! because lies will only cause complications. Also, if it is truly the end, don't give them false hope of another chance if you feel sorry for them. Make it clear WHY is isn't working as well.

Just be honest at tell the spouse but make sure it's not workable before ending it. Consider talking with a professional.

Ask your lawyer. Perhaps you can get spouse to cheat on you or something first so spouse has no entitlement to your stuff.
Being direct is the best way. The more sensitive you are the more he/she will think there is still a chance to make it work.

Im in the same situation and im trying to figure that out as well! I know people will answer to just tell them and be honest but its harder than they think.
I'd send him a fax.





Or I'd get on Y!A and say, ';I just filed divorce, how long until he's served?'; Considering that he looks at all my answers, I'm pretty sure he'd get the hint.
