Is it legal to spy on your own spouse?

Specifically, is it legal in Texas (or anywhere in the US) to install surveillance cameras to monitor one's spouse without their knowledge inside their own private residence? Is it legal to spy on your own spouse?
Yes, it's legal. Ordinarily, the domicile is jointly owned making such modifications within the property owner's rights. In addition, there is no expectation of privacy in a private residence from another party living in that residence.

If you are estranged, though, going to a separate location to install surveillance equipment - particularly when it is not your property - could get you in real trouble. Is it legal to spy on your own spouse?
I would hope not! What a creepy violation of the Fourth Amendment, not to mention a good way to ruin a marriage.
Yes that's fine, I have some pornography tapes of my x and her lover. I sell over the Internet that's making me millions!!
i would imagine it is, but if you dont trust who you're with, why be with them O.o
Yes it is legal to have video in your house recording. There are many covert cameras out their. Check the link below for examples of low cost covert cameras. You can get cameras inside smoke detectors, picture frames, and ties.
I don't have any legal info to support my idea, but I think it is. I'm sure there have been a few people contemplating divorce that have resorted to a PI or surveillancing their spouse before deciding for sure whether or not to go through with filing the paperwork.

Separated from spouse for some time and she will not give me her ssn so that i can file my taxes?

Not sure where she's at and she has filed married filing seperate, so I have to also.Separated from spouse for some time and she will not give me her ssn so that i can file my taxes?
The sure way to deal with this is to file a paper return with ';unavailable'; in the box where her SS# would go. Write a note with the return and explain your efforts to get the number. There could be other ways depending on your circumstances but those are unknown to us at the moment.Separated from spouse for some time and she will not give me her ssn so that i can file my taxes?
don't you have it on past year's 1040's, of which you're supposed to keep copies of for several years after filing?
Contact the IRS and ask them what you should do.

You can always pay to get a previous years tax return which would include her SSN.

Or, get a lawyer, complete the divorce and order her to turn it over so you can file your taxes.
You'd have to file married filing separately even if she hadn't, unless you have your qualifying child living with you, then you might be able to file as head of household.

Did you and she ever file a joint return? If you have a copy, it would be on there - if you filed a joint return in the past but don't have a copy, you can get a transcript from the IRS.
Look at last years taxes and it should be there :)

How long does a person have to be away from a home before a spouse can claim abandonment?

specifically in virginiaHow long does a person have to be away from a home before a spouse can claim abandonment?
If they still help pay some bills abandonment may be a bit far fetched!!How long does a person have to be away from a home before a spouse can claim abandonment?
Check the web link below. It looks to be pretty thorough on divorce laws for Virginia.
Good question, I have no idea. Interested in seeing the answer. Amazing that these issues exist, why people just run off is beyond me. What ever happened to social responsibility?

SWEET MILDRED IS MY LEADER...CRAWL INTO HER PLAYPEN WITH ME
You don't claim abandonment, and you don't ask for a at fault divorce anymore. At any time, whether he is there or not, you can file for a divorce.
Why would you want to file under abandonment. It's a lot easier to file no fault. And you get to keep everything.
1 year, unless he is active duty military.
Might want to ask an attorney in Virginia.
Google ';divorce laws in VA'; or ';abandonment laws in VA';, and go from there.

Anyone get married young and have your spouse flip out around 30?

My wife seems to be a completely different person doing things she never used to do, talking about living for herself now. Is this an early midlife crisis. She refuses any counseling and now is saying shes done.Anyone get married young and have your spouse flip out around 30?
Age old tragedy :

Woman marries a man thinking he will change .... he doesnt

Man marries a woman thinking she will not change....She doesAnyone get married young and have your spouse flip out around 30?
My husband and I met at 20, married at 26. At 30 I didn't flip out. The older you get the more mature you seem to be. At 30, specifically mid 30's I realized that I was more self confident. I no longer cared about some of the things I thought were important or seems to consume my thoughts. I was not as jealous. I was not as controlling. I blew things off easier. Good for her. She should live for herself instead of putting other people first. If she is happy with herself then all people around her will be much happier in her presence. Now if she is saying she wants to live by herself and leave you then counseling may be in order.
We are a funny lot us women eh!

Perhaps she feels you have changed too, why else would she say she's done? Women don't just flip for no reason, the same as men don't. All this it is supposed to be that women work in 7 year cycles in regards to their maturing. I know that at 40 I am so different to what I was at 33, and at 26 was different too.

You need to ask what's changed in both your lives to see the root of the problem, but failing that there is not much you can do sorry.
Yes, this sounds normal. Only remember that her behaviour has nothing to do with you. If she's feeling something, she owns it to you to discuss whatever it is and together, you can see how to make the relationship better. We shouldn't just want out simply because things are not what we expected them to be. Marriage takes work, and I mean REAL work and it's not quite a fairytail like we've been made to believe, it's a mixture of good and bad days, happiness and sadness, joy, misery, love, anger, etc.

Do the very best you can do to save your marriage and to work things through with her, but she has to meet you half way.

There's always light at the end of the tunnel no matter how this will end.

Wish you all the best.

doing things like drugs ? drinking ? clubbing ?

or just normal stuff like sports ? going out to see friends more often ? etc ..

women go through this phase when they feel that nothing good they did seems to be appreciated and that she prioritized people around her and out herself in last place and discovered that these people were not worth it .. i would do the same if i were her

maybe you're not good in showing ur appreciation in what she does ? took her for granted and stopped doing sweet things u used to do ? or maybe you broke her heart ?
my wife was doing the same thing she refused counseling she said we were to young to get married i ended up finding out she was sharing her feelings with a younger guy maybe she thought if she got somebody young she would feel young herself(good luck)
women have several crisis time. the first one is around 30, then around 40 then around menopause. so yes, she has middle life crisis and yes, mostly women dump whoever they have been with at that age and find someone way much better. well, i did

How long did it take for your spouse to finally cheat on you?

10

20

30 years? How long did it take for your spouse to finally cheat on you?
Hilarious....are these serious questions,,How long did it take for your spouse to finally cheat on you?
my husband and I have only been married for 2 months, so we can't really say, although he has been faithful so far and so have I. I doubt we will ever cheat. I believe this because my parents have been married for 37 years and neither has cheated. My grandparents were married for 52 years the year my grandma died and they never cheated. My aunt and uncle have been married for almost 40 years and they have never cheated on eachother. It is a matter of being willing to communicate with eachother and really listen to what the other has to say. You have to tell eachother what your needs are and do what needs to be done to meet your spouses needs. If a woman feels like her needs are being met (you don't deprive her of sex, you let her know that you think she is wonderful, you really listen to what she says, you show her affection like kissing huging cuddling, and whatever else she needs to feel like a whole person) then she won't cheat. People cheat because they are getting something from thier lover that they feel they are not getting from thier spouse. If she is getting everything he needs from you, why would he ever go looking elsewhere. You and your wife should read His Needs Her Needs, it pretty much spells it out for you, but don't forget to talk about what the book says with eachother too.
Most people probably don't even know when they cheating first started. They just know when they first found out about it.
Number 1, 24 years.

Number 2 never will.
My first husband, the lying, cheating bastard, only took 2 years.
I know it took your wife 3 minutes, she waited until the sex with you was over.
He hasn't yet. I honestly I don't think he will either. I would one hell of a woman scorned. He got all of that out of his system before we got married.
I never had any direct proof he was cheating %26amp; I was only married for 3 years.
he cheated almost 6 years to the day we met. He didn't even get me a card this year thats how I knew.
2 years
By the end of the evening when I returned my tux and went for a second drink. Can anyone beat that?
LOL, my husband will never cheat on me unless he wanted to down grade.

  • Can you be held responsible for a spouse鈥檚 student loan?

My husband got his student loan years before we met. Now when speaking to the student loan company about repayment they are requiring MY financial information. I thought all debts outside of a marriage stayed with that person. Am I required by law to now pay this student loan just because I am married? Can you be held responsible for a spouse鈥檚 student loan?
The short answer is ';no.'; They can not require you personally to pay the debt. However, they can deduct the amount owed from any Federal Tax Refund, and some state refunds, depending on your state. Also, again depending on the state, they could put a lien on any real property you own. So indirectly, yes, you may have to pay for it. I wouldn't give them your financial information if the debt is not yours. Most defaulted student loans are sold off to collection companies who represent themselves as the government. BE CAREFULCan you be held responsible for a spouse鈥檚 student loan?
I don't think so because it was a debt aquired prior to the marriage, not during. It may depend on the state your in-the laws are different from state to state. They may also be asking to try and figure how much his paymants should be. They will combine your and his income to figur his debt-to-income ratio.
My wife is concerned about this as well (since she mentions it occasionally), but I'm not sure what the legal basis is of this except that while they may not sue you directly, they can sue your husband's estate (all he owns) which would take away from somethings that you may jointly own (like your house). That's how they get you.
YES, it's just like when you live with someone for years, then split up, any property acquired during that time has to be divided by a judge or natural agreement, and your required to get a real divorce, even though you never went through the motion of marriage, this in Texas, states very.
It depends on what you are doing. But in general, no you are not responsible. Even if he got the loan while you were married (they would consider you income for eligibility) you would still not be responsible. I would find out what they want your info for and request a copy of ';Rights and Responsibilities';. It will explain everything form making payments to deferments.
not if you were not married before the loan. It depends on who signed it basicly

What simple/small thing(s) could your spouse to do that would improve your relationship?

I know a lot of women who say that they would feel so much happier, and thus reciprocate, if their man would just make an effort to do small things (like tell her she鈥檚 beautiful, cook dinner, do the dishes etc. once in a while).

Men, if you know these small things would go a long way to help improve your relationship, what keeps you from doing them (assuming that you are not)?

Of course I鈥檓 interested in hearing the flip side too. What simple/small thing(s) could your spouse to do that would improve your relationship?
I do everything I possibly can to get my wife in the mood and with her low sex drive there are times that EVERYTHING doesn't work.

What little thing could my wife do every once in a while? Fake it and let me have sex! Who knows she might get into it once we get going? What simple/small thing(s) could your spouse to do that would improve your relationship?
We don't realize how important those things are to you.

0 confidence (lack of trust) it would make a difference in how you love us back.

You don't reciprocate to us by doing simple/little things for us - that doesn't make us happy the way it makes you happy. That's not to say /never/ do those things, but typically that it's not #1 nor #2/3/4/5 to us.
    Do unto others....

Marriage is a two way street. I can only talk hypotheticals since there is no direct circumstance. Many times marriages are faulty just because people fall into a rut of behavior. We are creatures of habit, and we sometimes fall into them without knowing it.

First step would be to talk about it, but acknowledge that you could do the same (like tell him how hot he is, join him in a hobby or sport event, do some chores you would normally expect him to do). Combine the conversation with your actions in following up on it and ask him to do the same. (note: never expect a certain outcome or you will most likely be setting yourself up for failure)

Remember also that there is no such thing as a ';perfect marriage'; for we as humans are imperfect.
He's already doing 99.9% of things that make our relationship good. I wouldn't mind it if he went dancing with me every once in a while - it wouldn't result in some dramatic improvement, it would just be a nice touch - however, he hates dancing, and I respect that. I can always find a friend or two to go to the dance class with.
I go online such as yahoo answers to see what others have done that I haven't done yet..I personally love to do small things because I know the small things add up.. Here I go

I do make the bed, wash dishes, n so on... I leave little notes in her makeup bag saying ';i love you';. I stick them by the toilet paper so she'll see them there. I call her at work and as quickly as possible tell her '; i just called to say that thinking of you makes my heart skip. I love you and I'm happy to have you, I hope you are having a great day at work';. I have gotten better in the kitchen so I will make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If she wants to talk about work I listen not talk. I give her back rubs when she asks. I talk about what bothers me not complain. And I kiss her for more than 10 seconds every day, and I tell her at night that I love her very much. And in the morning, I tell her she's my ray of sunshine. ( also to our daughter). I do what most men think is stupid, dumb, boring, and lame. I listen to her not my ego
I'm living with the same problem. My husband USE to help do it all, right down to making the bed together each day. He slowly stopped helping. Raising 5 children and working 40 hours a week on top of all the cleaning, paying bills and going to the grocery has worn on me.

I don't have any good advice for you because every thing I've tried hasn't worked.

I'm just down to doing it all and I don't complain and I offer myself to him anytime he asks. He's spoiled and he takes pride in that.
It would so much improve our relationship if he would stop smoking. My husband has meaty, kissable yummy lips and I've refrained from kissing him cause he smells like a ashtray all the time. He also isn't organized which drives me insane and away.
What I think helps is doing little unexpected things from time to time for eachother...IE: Making your Husbands favorite meal, Sitting a Gift Certificate for a Pedicure in your Wife's car, just little thoughtful selfless things--they go a LONG way! :)
I would be much happier if my husband would get up on the weekends instead of sleeping so late, and if he would learn to communicate with me better and not be so stubborn sometimes.

The little things he has no problem with.
';spy'; on her to see what she really wants deep down and surprise her with it. make her feel loved. make her feel like she is the best and you wouldn't replace her for anything.
My husband can come back from africa because he's been there helping the Africans for a while.
Do the things he used to do..leave little loves notes, cook dinner, help clean up, small sweet gifts (little stuffed animals..etc)
I do cook and tell her nice things.

It does not go both ways.

Now for me it would be oral sex.

That would make me very happy.
Maybe men would if the woman would just shut the hell up long enough to let the man.
    The dishes :)
If she would cook, that would be great.
He is fine the way he is.
Be up after 9 p.m. She has no stamina. I don't think we've made love after 9 or even watched a movie together more than a handful of times in the past decade or so.
I think I am pretty good at doing little things for my boyfriend. I write him letters every now and again when I'm thinking of him, I buy him his favorite magazine if I happen to be out and think of it, I call him after work sometimes and tell him to get ready because I'm taking him out for dinner. He surprises me with a book he thinks I'll like, or a nice text message randomly throughout the day. We went through a period in our relationship where we both got too comfortable and thus started to drift apart, but we both wanted to stay together so we consciously decided to put more of an effort in.
Because they get sex anyways so why bother doing extra.

And then if they can't stand the bitching, they stay at work longer.

On a deeper level, a man feels he is being attacked or put down when a woman asked for more (as if he isn't doing enough) and that's pretty discouraging. Over the long run, he feels unappreciated and can become resentful.

Men have a priority list going on in their minds that include all the things they need to/ wish to do. The favors woman ask just don't rank very high, or they do only for a short time and then they are forgotten.

Woman have more social skill and can better organize within their minds the needs of others. Men have not evolved this way and tend to be more selfish or focus on the tangible reality of their world. Men live in the moment moreso then woman who spend alot of time worrying and planning within their minds.

( don' get me wrong, a girl can totally be self-centered and selfish ~ but a real --%26gt;woman%26lt;-- is another story.)

How does a non-military spouse get service on a military spouse who resides in England?

What is your question? It makes no sense.

Do you mean '; how a non military spouse would get INFORMATION on a military spouse';?

I checked out your other Question - which was more clear....

Just contact your own lawyer. They will do all the leg work on getting your spouse served the divorce papers. Just let them know where he is stationed. How does a non-military spouse get service on a military spouse who resides in England?
If the court is serving him a subpoena to appear in a stateside court, then the request has to be coordinated through his branch's Staff Judge Advocate. If it is merely a court order for payment of child support, that document is sent to the Defense Accounting and Finance Service (DFAS) which handles the pay records for his branch. How does a non-military spouse get service on a military spouse who resides in England?
so pretty much this is my understanding..correct me if i am wrong. Either the husband/wife is trying to get something from the active duty military member.

If that is the case you will have to correct your sentence so people understand what your saying and can offer you better advice. your question is very confusing...

How to get past / forgive a cheating spouse.?

Can you really forgive, if you never for get?How to get past / forgive a cheating spouse.?
The trick is to learn the skill to LIVE THE PRESENT. It's a difficult exercise but if the guilty spouse is really making the effort then just for few minutes erase the bad memories and suspicion and actually enjoy the present as it is the only moment that is actually yours and you have control over. Once you have done this once, it gets easier to do again and again. Occasionally people do change and do show remorse and do their best to make up for their mistakes and don't do them again. How to get past / forgive a cheating spouse.?
Yes you can forgive, you will never forget. It will always be in the back of your mind. If you make the decision to stay you half to be willing to put it behind you and work on rebuilding you relationship. You can;t throw that in your spouses face all the time. Neither one if you can heal like that.

It is really hard to trust someone after they have betrayed you, so you have to be willing to lay down your pride. It is hard but it can be done.
Wow that is a tough situation. I can tell you from experience you may forgive but never forget. Allot of it depends on the situation. Time makes the hurt lessen but the one thing that is hardest to do is leave it in the past. It's so hard to rebuild that trust. You feel guilty at times because you won't let yourself trust. Something will happen to drudge up the past. But as time goes and your able to rebuild your trust it will eventually get shelved away.
You can forgive and forget. Its not hard at all if you have enough self esteem.I know I am the best he ever had.I know he loves me. So there is no worry in my head. No worries,no bad thoughts. I live everyday like its a new day,and everyday I can see in his eyes and his flirtatious ways that he loves being around me. We have been together for 28 years.
you really can't....try and forgive when he goes out alone, and comes home late. You will have a few questions for him and be very angry, if not very much filled with rage.

Ask yourself how you're going to feel when he is talking to another woman or checking out women in your presence.
Bear in mind that God has forgiven you your sins and that of your spouse, so why can't you? if you forgive the others offense/s, the hurt will heal even if you never forget.
Yeah, i'm sorry but I really wouldn't ever be able to do that. But I wouldn't lose faith in a chance at a non-cheating spouse.
I don't think I could ever look past that kind of betrayal. If someone did that to me, I would fall out of love with them instantly.
I don't think that is something I could ge over. Once the trust has been broken its sometimes impossible to mend.
I don't think you could ever forgive or forget. You will always wonder if they will do it again.
Nope - once the trust is shattered, you will always wonder.

How is you been feeling about your spouse since the diverce began?

i felt betrayed, disrespected, and hurt when i began my divorce but now i feel relief, and know i made the right choice. How is you been feeling about your spouse since the diverce began?
Betrayed, and that he was a COWARD. He began being really mean and abusive to me and our kids the last 6 mos, I made the decision to leave him, fearing for my life, and then after filing for the divorce I found out he was cheating on me. He wanted me to be the one to file and leave so he could always say I broke up our family to the kids, and not him, because I left him. Very sad.How is you been feeling about your spouse since the diverce began?
Was a little bit of a roller coaster. From crippling self pity locked in a room for days later to recapturing all that time during the marriage that I was deprived of fresh and not so fresh puttykitty. Funny thing was, after we got divorced and lived our separate lives; we got back together at her pursuit for another year or so before calling it quits for good (THANK G-D!) It lead to me finding some amazing women who satisfied me in different ways and the last of which I married. Don't avoid the ride, just buckle in and enjoy, even the sour parts; they eventually lead to the good parts if you set your mind to it.
I don't like unnecessary contact. I just want to get on with my life!

Edit- I still feel betrayed, heart-broken, and hurt... though I'm trying not to focus on that. I was just getting over being in Iraq for 16 months and getting settled in before being told I'm handsome, smart, loving, fun, funny, and perfect, but she doesn't love me the way a spouse should, and wants a divorce. Ouch.

My story is a dime a dozen though... I risk my neck to provide, and get cleaned out and ditched. Hoping I can find a nice responsible woman someday who would never do anything like that...
I feel betrayed, hurt, my heart breaks every time I see him and I feel strong.

It's his loss. If he wants to throw away 5 years of marriage without even looking at himself and making an effort, that's on him. I did everything I could.
    relieved
    What the eff, John.

  • Can spouse join AF Reserves or Air Guard?

I am active duty (applying for Palace Chase soon) Air Force and my wife would like to join the AF. Obviously, she is barred from joining active duty, but is she barred from joining the AF Reserves or Air Guard? Can spouse join AF Reserves or Air Guard?
YES! She can join the Air National Guard or the Air Force Reserve. I, myself, am currently getting ready to join Air Guard here in CO where my husband is stationed.

I spoke with a recruiter here and let him know that my husband is AD USAF, we have a 1 yr. old son and we are enrolled in EFMP (for our son); he told me that I cannot join AD unless I have a waiver but getting a waiver is highly unlikely. He did tell me that I can join another branch of service as AD, but I don't think that's a good idea at all, so I decided to go Air Guard!

Good luck to y'all! Hope I helped in some way. :-)Can spouse join AF Reserves or Air Guard?
You recruiter is correct. She might be able to join the reserves but this could be a problem. They would be more apt to take her once YOU are in the reserves since the odds are both of you would not get deployed.... unless you are at the same unit.

But there is a bigger problem. As you probably know Palace Guard is an excellent way to go. But.....

Applyng could take a great deal of time. It could take long enough for you to be scheduled to PCS. Then you would be denied. Even if you scored well on your performance reports they might deny you anyway because of manning requirements. A local unit itself may have no immediate need for you particular job.

So basically she could end up locked down at a local unit and then you could still be active.

It is probably a good idea for her to wait and see what happens to you first.
She's not barred from joining, unless you have children. And in that case, you'd still need the Family Care Plan to cover for when she deploys.
my husband said in the army a spouse can join but the one with the longest military time is where you are stationed. so she can prob join???

How does one begin to forgive their spouse for lying? Will I ever be able to trust him again?

You might forgive him, but you will never forget the fact that he lied to you. It is VERY hard to ever trust that person again once you have caught them in a lie. Me personally, if I ever catch you in a lie, I'm done! How does one begin to forgive their spouse for lying? Will I ever be able to trust him again?
It all depends on what he lied about not saying a small lie is okay cause honestly is the best policy and you cant get in trouble for telling the truth, you could trust him again but it is up to him to prove to you that he is trustworthy he messed up he needs to try to earn your trust back but also let him know that a relationship is based on trust and without that you have nothing and it is okay to tell you the truth even if he thinks it will hurt your feelings or you will be mad at him cause chances are if he lies and you find out you are going to be way more pissed ya know? How does one begin to forgive their spouse for lying? Will I ever be able to trust him again?
what did he lie about?? that really makes the difference but since i dont kno wat the lie was i think that he will have to gain ur trust bak by him showin u that he is being trust worthy....it depends on the person also but i think u will be able to trust again.....u have to forgive in order for God to forgive u but that dnt mean u will 4 get. Let him do all the makin up to u
Like others said, it depends on what they lied about.

But in the end, there is no ''beginning to forgive''. You either forgive or you don't. It's a choice you have to make.
    it depends onwhat he did

if you love him enuff to forgive him and trust him then yes hun

its all up to you hun

What would be your reaction if your spouse told you the reason they married you?

    was because of your looks?

My husband and I had a talk today for the first time in a long time. I asked him why he married me and his response was that looks were very important to him. He said he always thought I was very pretty and still does. When I told him I wanted to be liked (loved) for the kind of person I was, he was silent. I told him other people compliment me for my personality as well as looks, and make me feel good about myself. When I'm around him, I don't.What would be your reaction if your spouse told you the reason they married you?
    When I asked him, he told me, ';It was your command of the English language';

I don't remember him ever saying he loved me.What would be your reaction if your spouse told you the reason they married you?
Some people just think that looks are of the utmost of importance. You can't MAKE him change his honest opinion! I believe him one hundred percent. My looks changed and my husband cheated and we're getting a divorce. Looks were and are EVERYTHING to him. I thought, like you thought that he loved me unconditionally for me, but no, not so much at ALL. Kind of shallow, but it is what it is. It turns him on, attracts him and pleases him that you are goodlooking. Like I said, it is what it is and it is VERY real. Trust me.
That's a very shallow way for him to think. I've always looked at it like this. Looks don't last forever, at some point we all get old and grey hair, we also get wrinkles and put on a little more weight, and some even go bald. So there better be more than just looks, because in the end if you have a crappy personality and character, no one will want you
You can't fix him, but he can. It's called personal growth and I strongly recommend that he give it a try. He could always spend a few weeks with my ex so then he will appreciate someone with a real personality.

There's no need to complicate it, If it feels right it is, If it doesn't feel right. It isn't.

Some guys, no matter how hard they try, can never gain the depth of appreciation that you deserve. I'm guessing here, but do you feel 'alone' in your marriage?
that is a common answer but men do not normally say it aloud. i met my wife based on her looks and yes it did contribute to me asking her to marry me. i was just like your husband for the longest and i thought that was the reason i fell in love. your husband needs to make you a list of your good qualities and i bet he will be surprised. when i did this activity for a marriage class it made me realize how important my wife was and how much she contributes to our family.
    men don't think like women, they don't like to be ';Mushy';

    don't worry about it.

Men don't marry women for their mind, never have never will.

they only think 1 way 97% of them are like that
He's a superficial jerk. Is he frickin' Burt Reynolds? Looks are important TO HIM. What about what's important TO YOU?

Geez, Autumn, doesn't it kill you to know that you could do a lot better?
I think most men are drawn to us in the first instance on looks and looks alone.
I would be happy because some men complain about the way there wife looks.
    I'm a smart *** all the time....I would have said.......';well that's good cause I married you for your money....I guess our marriage as made out of looks and money!!!';
Ouch.... Id be pissed . But are you sure he wasnt just trying to get at you?
at least you know you're hot :)

My spouse has sued for divorce in a different state than I live in. Which state do I file my Response in?

My spouse has sued for divorce in CA. I live in NC and need to file a Response. Which state do I file the Response in? (Assuming I am agreeing to his terms.)My spouse has sued for divorce in a different state than I live in. Which state do I file my Response in?
CA. the entire case will take place in california. My spouse has sued for divorce in a different state than I live in. Which state do I file my Response in?
It would be CA. I lived in IL and my ex moved back to WA and I filed here, and this is where the divorce took place. Also, a divorce does not have to be filed where the marriage took place. My ex could have filed in WA even though we got married in IL. Unless you are contesting the divorce, you don't even have to show up at court unless you want to, you can always look on the web at the state laws, or call the courthouse he is using to ask questions. Good luck!
    Get a lawyer immediately

A lawyer can give information on which state o file

Stop trying to figure this out

Do not sign anything unless your lawyer looks at it

Get a lawyer.. you may loose alot
    Ca.
Depends....did you move away or did he? If you were married in Ca, then then that state has jurisdiction.

Do you have any funny names your spouse wanted to name baby?

My husband wated to name our son Boris. I hated that name, so the first dog we got I encouraged him to name it boris because I knew he wouldn't name our child after a dog.Do you have any funny names your spouse wanted to name baby?
My husband wanted Monty and Zeppelin....He is quite a music fan. So, I met him half way with Lennon as our sons middle name.Do you have any funny names your spouse wanted to name baby?
well like im not married... but it was my dad and he wanted 2 name my little bro sullivan...
My husband is Steven II, and when we told his ex-wife we were having a boy she suggested we name him Trey instead of Stven III. I thought she was crazy!
    Elvis. lol :-)
My husband wanted to name our daughter Wednesday. He also wanted to name our son Moses. We didn't choose those awful names and this was in the 70's.I guess he liked the Addams Family.
My husband honestly thought Maximilian was a good name! He said it sounded strong. He is a history network fanatic and would just write down random CRAZY names!
My parents thought about naming me Myrtle.

They would of given me a good middle name to go by, but still

    I'm REALLY glad they didn't.

No offense to anyone named Myrtle.

    Oh, my Cousin is named

    Boley [Bowl-lea]

    He goes by Alston, though.
We were expecting twins and my husband wanted to name them Jack %26amp; Diane. Luckily they were both girls.
I wanted to name my son Nigel because we have an English last name, my husband laughed at that suggestion for days on end.....we ended up naming him Richard instead.
I took a lot of crap over my middle childs name Reyna. Not bad until you put it with her last name Bird. So now my family teases me about my sprinkler system (RainBird). My youngest was lovingly called Spryte Leigh because Dad was convinced that she was going to be a little elfish girl. I however vetoed and now we are letting big sis pick out a name so it is Hanna or Riley. Of course my loving family can not quit daring me if I will pick Hanna Montana as a full name. Got to love sisters!
Torin Levi ( sounds like ripped blue jeans to me)but Torin is Irish for Troy(my husbands name) We ettled on Christian Levi=D
My cousins dad wanted to name her Riasa Sandinista.

My mom wanted to name me Andedrezma.

My mom wants me to name my daughter Triane, because her grandma was Anne, she is Dianne, and she wants a Triane.
When my husband and I were looking for names for our first, he told me the only thing that he had ever named before was a dog. I asked him what he would name a new dog then, he said ';Sparky';. He occasionally called her Sparky after her birth too!
Ulysses! It was an uncle's name who died young. God I hope we have a girl! We have so many girls names we agree on, and no boys. It was the same last time and thankfully she's a she!
my boyfriend wanted to name our kid Riku After a character in the video game kingdom hearts...we ended up naming the dog that... plus our other dogs names are Shiro (white in japanese...which the dog is white), yui, and junji...all of these names are japanese...so who knows i might have a girl named Gin means Silver or Gina means silvery...I like the name Cho...which means butterfly or the combonation of GinCho...Silver butterfly or even a different name from a video game
    Boris....yikes!

The only ';weird'; name that my husband thought of was Iris.

Not that it's funny or anything...just don't like it all that much....
it was me, I wanted to name our daughter Odyssey Stardust, my husband said it sounds like a stripper's name, i agreed, we changed it to Sara Ashlee.
My husband liked Guadalupe for a girl and Octavius and Batman for a boy. *sigh*
I think he was joking, but Maximus Orphelious. Or something like that. It sounds like a name that yuou would hear in a history class!
My friends husband wanted to name is kid Ricochet Laydoka.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our last name is Holmes. My husband came up with Mobul. I named her Sarah.
Garrett. Not a bad name, and he had me almost convinced. Garrett Scott. Not bad. Until I said it out loud with our last name ...

    Garrett Scott Merritt ...

    Garrett Merritt?

    Garrett Merritt?

    Didn't happen!
30 years ago, a very good friend of mine was supposed to be named REPUBLIKA , because her mom's due date was Nov. 29th - the day of the republic in the former Yugoslavia.

Luckily, (with a little help from friends and family), her dad was convinced otherwise, after her birth on Nov. 23rd.
lol.. he said ''Frantic'' i said honey that is a WORD!! and not a good one.. he also said Demontia, LaMontia, ... many more horrible names tooo... i hope he was kidding... cuz when the time comes he will get a rude awakening..!!
Sorry i'm only 14 but my anut named my cousin......oh boy this is a really weird name but its 100% ture hes name is.....

    Guess Cole

and it is totally true and weird but you get used to it

    after a while=]
My partner sometimes calls our baby ';Of Course I';...his last name is Cann. The other one he joked about was ';Genghis';...another play on his last name!

Luckily she will have a completely ';normal'; name when she arrives in May!
Thank goodness my hubby doesn't have too horrible of taste, but my ex-boyfriend literally wanted to name our future children Radius and Orthogonal.(He was a math whiz) He thought those words sounded cool as names. Luckily, we did not marry

    ps

I think that Boris is a great name... for a dog...
we were nameing our daughter a arabic name and my husband suggested narryman its kinda like harry man but that didnt happen we named her Yasmine!
Boris..lol Aren't you happy you got a dog!

  • Have you ever had to BEG your spouse for sex?

Has it ever gotten so bad that your spouse thinks you are somewhat of a skank that is trying to purposely get knocked up AGAIN that he won't even give it up to you? Would this be a good time to call an attorney for a divorce? The smell of roses are in the air tonight %26amp; this random question popped into my head for some reason.Have you ever had to BEG your spouse for sex?
I would never beg, but I do get pissed when it has been over a month. I have gotten to the point where I no longer initiate because I am sick of getting rejected.

Hey drops of Jupiter--What about those of us who didn't have an actual wedding and therefore made no vows. I went to the DMV and signed the papers to get married. That is all you have to do in Colorado.Have you ever had to BEG your spouse for sex?
Did you wedding owe say ';For better or worse, until sex is no more';? Don't make a owe before God if you can't keep it. Now live with it. Don't you dare go against it because of your selfish needs.

    **ranting below**

Why the F8CK do you people put on that smile and that wedding dress/suit and buy that ring, if you are only going to be going back to the same place to get a divorce? WTF is wrong with you people these days. Don't make a owe if you can't keep it. You people will never learn your lesson. Its time to change for the better - you are running out of time - literally!
Drops of Jupiter is a complete moron. What if the spouse is abusive? Just stay married to them because of god? Even if you just fall out of love, you'd rather be miserable because you made a ';commitment to god?'; What a moron.

And wtf is ';make a owe?'; I don't even know what you are trying to say. Complete moron.
Oh, hellz no. I don't care how hairy my v is, or how much I lick my own huge titter in pictures. If I was desperate enough to beg my husband for sex, I would just go and seduce the most retarded kind of beer that I could find!
I have never had to beg for my husband to make love with me. If you talk about my ex husbands that is another story, but they were not so good in bed.
Random odoriferous hallucinations are a sign of a brain tumor.
I thought only men had to beg for sex... Never heard of a woman begging for sex.
No, my husband loves having sex with me.
Never. And if anyone has resorted to such thing, I feel sorry for them.
If I have to beg I'd rather get a ho.

If you're married, what is your greatest worry re your relationship with your spouse?

How we are going to pay the bills each monthIf you're married, what is your greatest worry re your relationship with your spouse?
When you get married, a lot of changes take place in your life. You no longer leave your life the way you want to. This person you are married to becomes your mirror in some way. For example, if you used to come home after midnight your attitude has to change. So some people worry of losing themselves, others worry about issues of parenthood. Will I make a good husband or wife? Will be be able to become a good parent? With the current global crunch, some people worry about the issue providing necessities for their families.
    i have no worries...

we are soulmates... and we trust each other and communicate...

and we allow each other freedom to pursue whatever we want, without consequences... because we don't suffer with jealousy or sexual ownership... :D
My worry is, if we are unable to have kids of our own. We love kids. :)

Would you be nice enough to do this for your soon to be ex spouse?

Let's say while you were in the process of getting the divorce you won the lottery. Would you sure your winnings with your soon to be ex spouse? I am asking because this really happened and the guy shared his winnings with his soon to be ex wife and they didn't even have kids together.Would you be nice enough to do this for your soon to be ex spouse?
It would depend on why exactly we were getting divorced. If he had cheated or done something horrible to cause the marriage to fall apart...hell no I wouldn't share one penny with him. But if it was an amicable split on good terms I might consider...thinking that if the shoe was on the other foot I would want him to do the same.Would you be nice enough to do this for your soon to be ex spouse?
It would depend: If I broke my ex spouses heart then yes, I would share it.

If he broke mine - hell no.

If it was mutual and we're remaining friends - like 1/4 of the money maybe.

If it was mutual and we hate each other - then no for sure.
If I were divorcing him, it would be for a very good reason and I probably would find a way to NOT share my winnings.

If he did, that's wonderful. He's a better man than I am woman.
I think that in most states you would have to if your married at the time you win although i could be wrong and yes i would give him a share of the money
No I wouldn't. If we were parting on good terms, i would sent a nice gift after the divorce.
Depends on the kind of person you are and how much you still like your ex spouse.
    heck no not willingly anyhow....
Yes I would. If it got him to stop being pissed at me.
he knows he will have to give her a lot when divorcing, so better share a bit than give it all!
No; I would keep the money for myself.
    Hell to the no....

Your spouse leaves you and you have one last night with them. What do you do?

Yes i asked a question similar to this...

If you are unaware of that precious question; don't worry about it. I'm contrasting the answers I get from the two.Your spouse leaves you and you have one last night with them. What do you do?
make love to him like i will never get to make love again in my life.

**add on** okay, ';thumbs down';...but the question didn't say if your spouse left you on specific terms...what if it were to imply that your spouse was going away somewhere???Your spouse leaves you and you have one last night with them. What do you do?
My spouse leaves me? You make hard love for hours, just like how you started at the very begining of the relationship, making love for hours.

Sometimes, you go back right where you left off at the very begining, but this time you go in reverse and exit out, just like you came in, into the relationship. Right back to the front door of things.
as heartbreaking as it is you're just pouring more salt into your wound by showing up and trying to make him love you for just a few more hours. its not gonna last.

get the eff outta there honey, kick him to the curb.
Well, if I knew he were leaving me I sure wouldn't have a romantic dinner for two. I'd suggest he leave now instead of waiting til tomorrow morning.
Get some self respect and don't show up?

If you have to chase him, then he's NOT the love of your life.

In that case I wouldn't even show up to see the jerk. Period. I mean what's the point?
Talk probably if only to find out where to serve divorce papers.
I don't think having sex with them one last time would do anything for me, outside of getting me laid. I rather find a new person to get laid with than hold my breath living in the past.
there would be no last night with them - pack yoru bags and get out - right then and there.
Give them some sleeping pills and ';misplace'; all the good possesions I don't want to lose.
They left, the last night is past.
why would you not make it a clean break?

Where do you keep olive oil? My spouse put it in the fridge - Is it ruined? Don't answer if you don't know

Last time, we bought a big bottle %26amp; it turned rancid. This time we bought a small bottle %26amp; wanted to avoid that, so it was put in the fridge...now it's solid! Woe is me!Where do you keep olive oil? My spouse put it in the fridge - Is it ruined? Don't answer if you don't know
I think putting it in the fridge, is a waste of room and energy.

(There are many things that do not need to be in the fridge)

Olive oil needs to be protected from light.

I keep mine in the cabinet.

Your Oil is just fine.Where do you keep olive oil? My spouse put it in the fridge - Is it ruined? Don't answer if you don't know
Just set it out for a few min before you use it and it will be okay. You can just keep it in a cool dark spot otherwise. I use mine fast enough that it doesn't get rancid and I even keep mine in a cupboard over the stove. But the fridge or a cool pantry is okay too.

P.S. katiekat doesn't know what she's talking about you an still use it even if it's cold and thicker it just wont pour as easily.
if you have a pantry, best kept in there.don't keep it in the fridge, that really does keep the taste in.if you use olive oil all the time then a large bottle will go in no time.if you don't then throw away,if it's been opened, after about 6 months.the better the olive, the better the oil, therefore lasting that bit longer.
I keep a 33 ounce bottle on the counter next to the stove with a pouring spout in it. It lasts about 6 weeks. I buy it from Trader Joe's.

Olive oil will solidify when refrigerated. Just let it come to room temperature. Keep a small bottle out, cap it, and use it up in 2 months.
Olive oil should not be kept in the fridge. It is not a winterized oil-that means that it will get cloudy at fridge temperatures. Take it out of the fridge and allow it to get to room temperature again and it will be fine.
You keep olive oil in your pantry. It is not ruined. Sometimes I use olive oil in a marinade and then refrigerate it .......... the results is a solid marinade. If you let it sit out, it will go back to liquid.
my cousin actually keeps hers in the frig and she leaves it out on the counter for a little while and then she use's it and then puts it back in the frig and she said it is fine. I keep mine in the pantry
I believe if your take it out of the fridge and let it come back to room temperature it should be fine.

but never put oils in the fridge, they are only liquid when warm or at room temp.
I keep mine in a cabinet. Some people put their oils and spices in the fridge though. If you take it out and let it come to room temp, it should be fine.
You can defrost in mocrowave. My salad dressing does that too and I nuke it for about 10 seconds and use it. I keep mine in the pantry - regular olive oil.
I keep mine in the cupboard. I use it all the time, so it doesn't have time to go rancid.
I keep mine in the kitchen cabinet and have never had a problem. That is where I keep my vegetable oil also.
It should be fine, just take it out and let it get room temp. I always keep mine in the cabinet.
Mine got solid when our power was out this winter, but a few days after, it was liquid again and was just fine.
i keep olive oil in my pantry. it's fine.
I keep mine with all my spices in the cupboard. So does my mother and grandmother. I've never had a problem
    Take physics.

  • Can someone who has filed for divorce but later changed their mind, can their spouse counter sue?

Can the other spouse counter sue for divorce if they want the divorce but the original one filing basically hasn't done anything after one year?

Sucks, because this person who originally sued for divorce is living across the country and is still maintaining the financial benefits of the marriage.

Anyone most knowledgeable on this subject for 10 points! Can someone who has filed for divorce but later changed their mind, can their spouse counter sue?
A person can get a divorce simply by filing for it. The other person does not have to agree. if the person is living across the country, usually the one filing for the divorce has to put an add in a few different newspapers, looking for that person to tell him/her that they want a divorce. The other person may or may not contest. Still, the person filing for divorce can get one without the other party even being there. I did.

My spouse has died and my name is on the deed to our house, but not on the mortgage. How do I keep the home?

You can continue with the mortgage.

As long as the probate judge does not require you to sell in order to pay any of your husbands other debts nothing at all will change. My spouse has died and my name is on the deed to our house, but not on the mortgage. How do I keep the home?
If you can afford it, keep paying the mortgage. The bank doesn't care who pays the bill, as long as it gets paid.

They won't reconvey their interest in the property until the loan is paid off. If they don't get paid, they will eventually file a notice of default (usually within 90 days) and proceed with foreclosure.

If you can't afford to keep paying, I'd suggest selling the house and paying off the mortgage with the sales proceeds. This only becomes a problem if the house sells for less then the amount owed, in which case you'd have to get the bank to agree to accept a short sale.

Hope that helps - good luck.My spouse has died and my name is on the deed to our house, but not on the mortgage. How do I keep the home?
You don't need to do anything to put the house in your name since you are already on the deed- however, you do need to contact the mortgage company to let them know what has happened. You probably need a probate attorney to help you. If you just continue to pay until the mortgage is paid off they will finally release the lien anyway without you doing anything. The problem is the mortgage company will not talk to you with you not on the note.
You should contact a local probate attorney about the laws of your state. You would want to immediately legally transfer the title to your name at the county recorder's office.Initial consultation should not cost anything. Each state is a little different, so make sure you contact a probate attorney that understand the laws of your state.

The longer you allow this lay doormat the more of a problem it becomes in later years.

Simply by being married to an individual that has died does not transfer the property to you. There must be a court order in order for the county recorder's office to do this.

You can not simply show up at the county recorder's office with a death certificate and a marriage certificate and expect them to automatically place your name on the tittle deed.

You may continue to make the current mortgage payments to the current mortgage without too much of a problem. As long as the payment is being made they will not say too much.

If you are not paying your insurance and taxes through your mortgage company you might want to see if they are current.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

    ';FIGHT ON';
Hi, a quick check you might want to do is... to check if your spouse had bought life insurance on the mortgage. Most people do, some times it is a condition on the mortgage. If that is the case, the house is yours - just write/ inform the mortgage company (supplying the death certificate etc).
You don't need to do anything, when you go to sell the home speak with your real estate professional and all you will have to do is produce the death certificate. You could remove them from your mortgage by contacting your mortgage company and faxing them a copy of the death certificate also.
When the person with the mortgage is gone, the lender expects the mortgage to be paid. You need to refinance it into your own name. The bank probably won't know about it unless you tell them, but if and when they figure it out, you'll have to do something. If you read the documents your husband got at closing, you'll probably be able to find this clause. As an owner of the home, you should have been there too, and there were things you should have signed.

People think the heirs can just go on paying the mortgage, but this isn't correct. The lender didn't lend them any money. Their mortgage contract is ended with the death of the last mortgagor. You inherit the house, but not the mortgage.

I mean lender, of course. I work in the mortgage department of a big bank, so bank is in my head, but it's the same with any lender.

Some people buy credit life insurance, but there are so many conditions on it, many states won't even allow it to be sold. My mortgage gave me one free year, but I'll cancel as soon as that's up. Many of those policies are only good for the first five or ten years of the mortgage, and some only make 12 payments for you. Before you buy that, read the fine print and ask a lot of questions. It cannot be a condition of the loan.
Because your on the deed the house is not yours. To keep it, you need to keep making the mortgage payments. They don't care who's name it's in. At some point when you life is a little less stressful, you might check into refinancing the loan into your name.
The mortgage is due and payable on his death. You can't just keep paying on it. It's not yours. Worst case scenario, the lender can forece a sale of the proeperty to satisfy it's loan. YOu need to speak to the lender; and a probate lawyer.
The attorney who is handling his estate should be able to advise you on this situation. If it hasn't come up then call him or her by all means.
When your husband died the house automatically became yours. So did the mortgage. Just keep paying it and you're fine.
It doesn't matter. If you keep up the payments nothing will change until you sell the house.
keep paying the bill when it comes in the mail.
Call your bank or mortgage broker and ask!

Why?What love song reminds you of your spouse?
';Just My Imagination'; - the Temptations

';Knock Three Times'; - Tony Orlando

As you may surmise, I've been married a long time; but those songs still make my heart pound! What love song reminds you of your spouse?
For him, it's He Is by Brandy. Because it was the song that was playing the moment I realized I was in love with him.

For me, it's Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by Billy Joel. I have no idea why. He says that the lyrics reminds him of me but it just feels odd that he would choose that song because it's uptempo. Love songs just seem like something that should be slow.
Feel Like Makin' Love by Bad Company. Back when we were crazy teenagers and weren't actually having sex yet, it seemed like every time we were making out and listening to music that song would come on the radio. Every time I hear it now I am taken back to those times and it makes me smile at how foolish in love we were ... and still are.
My husband says its ';Broken Road'; by Rascal Flatts.

I always liked This Aint no Thinkin Thing, because it describes what we really have, a chemical, physical, emotional devotion. Its all about chemistry for us.

When a woman is pregnant does their spouse become useless?

or are they always useless and we just notice it more when we're pregnant?

i swear to god, one of these days i'm gonna snap at my bf and tell him these exact words ';you are SO USELESS'; but i can't unless i want to become a single mom.....

i have a 15 month old and im 6 weeks pregnant. When a woman is pregnant does their spouse become useless?
    Yikes.

Don't worry sometimes I feel the same way about mine. He can unknowingly be SO lazy and forgetful, but I have to be quick to remind him I'm not his mother and his socks don't magically get from the living room floor to the laundry basket. Just let him know he has to do his part. When a woman is pregnant does their spouse become useless?
Sometimes it is better to be a single mom, than to be with a useless guy. I was a single mom at 17 and finally had to get rid of a 21 year old baby that was ruining my life. I didn't think I would ever find anyone else, but I have been married to the best, most supportive, great dad, for the last 2 years. Either your bf is the right one for you or you should raise your standards and wait for someone that can treat you and your kids right.
hormones are raging and they seem like the most incompetant arrogant useless jerks sometimes.. usually their typical behavior is intensified.. but they are going through the hormones too so they are out of whack too.. my husband is a lazy butthead but he will jump up to help me up, get me something to eat or drink etc... whenever i need him.. really need him.. but when i just want him to help me clean or something.. its like pulling teeth.

goodluck hun... and there are other ways to express your feelings of him being useless without hurtfully badgering him.. because guys are sensitive.. they dont react well to anything lol...
In my life....my husband for the most part is always useless when it comes to anything to do with cleaning, cooking, poop diapers, spit-up, bathing the kids, etc. And when I am pregnant it becomes even more noticeable to me! I know how you feel! But I will admit that I am a raging ***** as well when I am pregnant!
Not mine. My hubby was (and now with the kiddo IS) incredibly helpful. He changed his schedule all around so we could get more sleep, he stopped having friends just stop by unannounced; I could go on and on.

If you're man isn't being helpful, perhaps (when you are calm enough to have a mature conversation) you should just sit him down, and tell him what you would like from him. Men aren't mind readers. Help him out, so he can help you out.
Wow...maybe YOUR boyfriend is useless. But when I got pregnant my husband started doing everything to make sure I was comfortable and happy and didn't have to do any work. I guess I got one of the good ones.
IN SOME AREAS MEN HAVE ALWAYS BEEN USELESS. EVERY MORNING IT IS THE SAME THING. DO YOU KNOW WHERE THIS IS, DO YOU KNOW WHERE THAT IS, HAVE YOU YOU SEEN MY.......

SOMETIMES I JUST WANT TO SAY LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE AND GO LOOK FOR IT YOURSELF. JUST IGNORE IT. HE WONT GET MUCH BETTER LOL.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!
    Hmm...

I think that differs from each situation. In MY situation my husband has never been ';useless';.

Go ahead and tell your boyfriend that. Maybe he needs a good eye opening experience.
15 month old and 6 weeks pregnant, guess you found birth control useless too. And a bf isn't a spouse.
    Spouse useless?

While pregnant and with a 15 month old.

No my spouse would be helping out for sure.

I am sorry to hear yours is not!
My boyfriend pretty much stays useless....lol, don't worry mama, I feel the same way

Who should come 1st in your life spouse/kids or parents/siblings?

When no one gets along which side do you go with? Whats the right way to go?Who should come 1st in your life spouse/kids or parents/siblings?
    spouse is first and foremost.

there may be times when others take priority for a short period of time.... such as sickness.

but overall... you promised love and commitment to your spouse.Who should come 1st in your life spouse/kids or parents/siblings?
If I am married with kids, they always come first. When you ask about parents and siblings coming first, this usually means that they want something or they want you to live your life a certain way. The most important person in my life right now is me. If I ever marry again, he will have equal status to me in my life. Right now my kids (they are grown and out on their own) come second. And they always come before my parents or siblings., who are also grown with their own lives.

I don't know what your situation is in your marriage, or why there is conflict between your spouse and your family. So I can't give any advice about your particular situation. I answered another question this evening encouraging a woman to leave her abusive husband and move back home with her family members. So I can't generalize to all situations, including yours.
the husband and wife need to put each other first to form a good marriage and then they both put their kids first together.

When your spouse does not get along with your parents ,a loving spouse knows you only have one mother and one father and will not compete for your attention over your parents . Your parents should not interfere in your marriage .

go with what is right and you do not let others interfere in your marriage.interfere
Your spouse should always come first until there are children involved, then the spouse comes second. We are meant to separate from parents and siblings when we have a family of our own. I don't mean separate literally or emotionally but if your priorities are not clear then more than probably there will be trouble down the road. Our families can destroy our relationships especially if there's a chink in the armor.
***Day to day = spouse/kids (this is your immediate family now)

***Although during emergencies such as stroke or severe illness your ailing parent may have to take precedence as they would do for you if anything happened to you

***Going back to ';day to day'; however; a good parent is one that doesn't ask their child to make a choice like that and therefore understands that your life needs to be lived by you now as they had done before in the prime of their life
Always has to be your spouse if you want a successful marriage. I think especially when it comes to children it is important and very difficult for women to put your spouse first. If the marriage is united eventually you will overcome obstacles and ultimately be successful. It is when you put others such as parents and children that resentments build and the marriage will fail. Good luck!
It depends what is causing the situation to develop. But, the rule of life is always parents and kids. I have a friend who used to tell me her husband was first than her kids b/c when they grow up they leave. Well, that was until her husband cheated on her and left her for a younger woman. She ended up living with her kids and they are the ones who are giving her support. I don麓t know, but when you have kids you understand your parents better.

    Hope this helps!
Me personally, I stay out of everything when no one is getting along. I tend to add fuel to the fires if I do. I have more peace when I don't say or do anything. In my book, technically no one comes first when everyone is fighting, it makes things worse
spouses should always stick by their side so long as its not causing any physical harm or breaking the law. When you get married you leave your family and make a new life together as one. It doesnt work if you still side with you parents all the time :)
Spouse above all! What a shame to be forced to choose sides but I would not put my spouse or my children in a situation they would not feel comfortable. There is enough negativity in the world and families should stick together.
    kids, spouse, parents siblings
Not knowing any details, just in general - spouse/kids should be first. Once you marry, they are your family.
    KIDS, PARENTS
    When married:

    Kids, spouse, parents
    Kids first.
    spouse/kids

    No brainer.

What's the dumbest thing your spouse has ever bought?

Mine bought a lifetime wheel alignment warranty at Firestone on a car that definitely was on its last legs. What's the dumbest thing your spouse has ever bought?
One of them had to be a gold chain necklace that he bought from someone in the parking lot of a truck stop off the interstate. It was supposed to be 18 kt. gold and $500 and there was a tag that looked like a jeweler's tag with that on it. The person selling it told him they only wanted $50 for it because they needed the money to buy food and diapers for their baby. Of course, it turned out to be fake. This was one of the very few gifts my husband bought for me after we married, and he couldn't even be bothered going to a jewelry shop and making sure it was authentic. I know, the whole thing is sad, isn't it?What's the dumbest thing your spouse has ever bought?
well about a year ago we had an old 96 suburban that gave us alot of problems and ended spending thousands of dollars on it to repair it. I told him to get rid of the car and it would be a better idea to save some money and get a newer car but NO the man didn't want to be without a car so he ended up buying a 97 suburban and needless to say the car caught fire in the highway on our way to my mom's house. He learn his lesson though so know we bought a 2004 expedition. I love him like crazy though
Don't get me wrong i love my husband dearly BUT, when we were in our younger years he bought an old Cadillac for 2000 dollars. We end up putting 3000 just to fix it and it still was a lemon! over the years i was able to convince him to just please buy a new car from now on.
Mine gave me a card for my bday last year...

The front read...';You know what it means when you are greeted at the front door by your man wearing nothing but a bow, a hot meal on the table, a bubble bath drawn, candle light and flowers... and then you open it up and it says..

    ';Your in the wrong house';..

that was it! That was my bday!!

A furnace from a Mexican company... WTF does a mexican company know about 40 degrees below zero temperatures?????? Where we live it is like 40 degrees below zero for a couple a months every winter. Of course the stupid furnace lasted about a week into the subzero temps before it burnt itself up.

Lol...my ex once bought a cell phone with a 400 minute a month plan...

This man talked to a minimum of 30 people a day every day of the week- lived on the phone constantly...

    .45 a min for overage...dumb, dumb, dumb...
My wife used to buy a new purse every month. Like $300 purses. There must be 50 purses in her closet, $15,000 worth. She hasn't bought any recently though, i don't know why.
The worst was something we bought together. A prelit Christmas tree that had half it's strands go out the first year.
They are all good but if I had to say a dumb one it would be ...uhhh none. He always surprises me with cool clothes and lingirie and perfume jewelry, A guess I'll say a lottery ticket that didn't win.
So funny ! My Wife one bought me a T shirt in which two guys of my size could have fitted easily ! But most of the things she buys for me are dumb !
A dozen of ';fake'; red roses on Valentine's Day!!!! Claims he couldn't find any real ones on his way home from work!!!! LMAO!!!!!
a wedding ring and the marriage licenses
a cheap *** dryer that wan't energy efficient while i was paying the electric bill

    Yes, I yelled at him.

How to deal with a supersensitive spouse who always think you are always try to get him?

Ask him just what his problem is! Ask him WHY he's thinking the way he's thinking about you, %26amp; what gives him the idea even. Ask HIM IF he's the one who's always trying to get over on you, %26amp; that that's where he gets his stupid idea in the first place! He's got to have a reason to be thinking these things...Ask him why...Good luck...:)How to deal with a supersensitive spouse who always think you are always try to get him?
I use pharmaceuticals but then I use pharmaceuticals for just about everything.

You might try slipping some xanax into his beers and getting him to loosen up a little bit.

Me, I would divorce the freak and give him a good reason to think that I'm ';out to get him'; but then again that's just the kind of wonderful wife that I am.How to deal with a supersensitive spouse who always think you are always try to get him?
OMG sensitive people SUCK!! I cannot deal with them. Period!!

They think everything is about them and the whole world is against them.

You cant tell them something for their own benefit...they get angry and put out the ';how dare you'; attitude.

No, I could not deal with a sensitive spouse. UGH, hell NO.
Try being more sensitive to her needs then maybe she will relax and not take everything so serious.
What does that mean? I have found that if I'm with a partner that gives me reason to be concerned and I'm having trust issues, I'm super sensitive.
You divorce him. And live happily ever after.
wow, you need to make him see a psychiatrist

Can the judge just throw my uncontested divorce case out just because my spouse won't sign?

and we have a child together, He has moved out of the house and took all of his property, but he will not agree to sign divorce papers (for selfish reasons) The clerk told me that the parenting class in not required for our county. All the paper work is in order, and he was served his papers by a sheriff deputy. What do you think the judge will do. I pray that someone in Georgia that has been in a simular situation can aswer this question. Can the judge just throw my uncontested divorce case out just because my spouse won't sign?
I'm not sure about GA, but in AL once the papers are served your husband would have 30 days to respond. If he doesn't respond you can ask the judge to make a ruling (which they will almost always do) in your husbands absence. The only time they wouldn't do this is if your husband is in a coma or over seas or in the military or some other really extenuating circumstance justifies his lack of response. Usually the judge will then simply grant you whatever you petitioned for.Can the judge just throw my uncontested divorce case out just because my spouse won't sign?
By definition, uncontested means that both parties are in agreement. If you can't get one of the parties to sign, that would make it obvious they're not in agreement, hence it is no longer uncontested. You can still get a divorce, even without the other spouse's cooperation, but it will take longer. You really should talk to a lawyer.
he doesn't have to sign for you to get it, if he got served and he ignores it he would be the one losing everything, automtically you get divorce and even custody, that happened to my husband she didn't even bother showing up and she even lost her kids custody not visitation right no nothing and she has to pay child support.
he will be given a certain number of days to respond if he fails to they will set a court date for you. you will get your divorce they usually don't throw out cases just because a spouse won't sign.

How has your relationship with your spouse changed since having a child together?

well he was not my spouse bt my bf and he left way before the baby was born :(How has your relationship with your spouse changed since having a child together?
Not so much has it changed but some things that went unnoticed were really noticed after our first daughter was born.

When we first got together it was us all the time and then abouta year into it his family came first, which I never complained about because we didnt have a daughter to take care of at the time...then it was him with his friends all the time...again not that big of a deal.Until our first daughter was born...then it all hit me like a ton of bricks that unless stuff changed a bit this wasn't going to work because I was a single parent with the father of my child living with me...and at times it seemed like I was taking care of a grown man like my own child. We did split up once but got back together a month later. We now have 2 daughters and another daughter due on Sept. 29th and things couldn't be better...he is now a family man and has been for some time and we always come before everyone else now...I think every relationship gets a little rough in the beginning after bringing a new baby into the world and realizing that its about the baby now and no longer about you and your needs first. But as the months go by it gets a lot better...its just some people don't stay together to find it out...and some just weren't meant to be like they thought they were. How has your relationship with your spouse changed since having a child together?
Well, as my baby is only 1 week old, and today is my husbands first day back at work- I have been sitting here alone thinking about this.

Its great, cos he is a great Dad and Hubby, but I worry a lot about us losing the playful, flirty, joyous side to our relationship that we would have done with the time that is now spent taking constant care of the bubby. I talked to him about it and said a few times I want to make sure we make the effort to still cuddle on the lounge for a little while each evening and cuddle and kiss at least once or twice a day. I think these things require effort when you are so busy. I really worry about our lovely bond fizzling out. And also he loves our bubby so much (as do I) that I worry he won't have enough love left over to give me what he used to... I cried a bit about it the other day. I hope I am wrong and we'll be fine. I love him so much so I tell him how much I appreciate him and what a great guy he is. I show him I love him all the time- I hope thats enough. I'm sure we'll be OK, I know he loves me a lot and maybe some of his affection will re-focus back to me once he is more used to the baby.
it has changed HORRIBLY!! and i don't know why! it sucks so bad! ever since we brought our son home 5 months ago we haven't had a day with out arguing. and it gets worse everyday! we actually are talking divorce and we've only been married a year! i don't know why we are like this now! we NEVER argued before and while i was pregnant and we were together for 3 years before we got married and best friends for 5. its like we just all of a sudden fell out of love, its so weird...
my husband deployed in december, our son was born in may, he came home for 18 day r%26amp;r in june, and he's not due home till march, but in those 18 days he was home and in the way he talks about our son, i notice a HUGE change just in him. for the better! he's an amazing father and seeing him with our son just made me fall in love with him all over again. we get along better, we talk things through better, we argue less, and he always appreciated me before but he appreciates the crap out of me even more now.

ahhh this makes me all giddy for the day he comes home :D
The focus has gone off just us two to our baby. Less time for hugs and kisses for each other, especially compared to how much attention I got from him while pregnant!!

For both of us the baby is now our first priority. We have to make sure her needs are met before we look after ourselves.

But everytime we look and play with her my husband says that he cant believe we made such a beautiful baby.

It has brought us closer in that we now have someone that is part of both of us.

We try to make time for each other though. Luckily we stay with the in-laws which is great. No cooking or cleaning for me to do!! And we go out a few times a week without baby. Sometimes just for a short drive or we've even managed to go to the movies :)

It helps that we have great support.

Relationship sexually...with a 7 week baby I would rather sleep!!
He's no longer the most important thing in my life, my baby girl is my TOP priority now. Also, the whole sex thing has gone VERY downhill, although it has only been 5 weeks since I gave birth, after seeing what he saw and doing what I did, I don't think either of us will be 'in the mood' for a VERY loooong time hehe
We have more things to discuss and have become better at handling our problems. We live apart due to our jobs but I am very diligent in keeping him updated on our son's development and sending pictures daily. Our love is stronger and he finds more ways to please me.
There's a better partnership and friendship now. :)
Yes for the better, we are much closer now.

How can I tell if my spouse has Spy ware on my PC?

We are divorcing If I can get away alive. I think he has NPD personality disorder and controls everything! I recently quite giving him my pay stubs but he still knows what I made. I think he has bug on the PC but I dont know what to look for. anyone know? How can I tell if my spouse has Spy ware on my PC?
    These are some choices:

    1) AVG 8 AntiVirus. Easiest interface to use, very fast scanning and doesn't lag your computer at all. Only has a 76% detection rate, but catches the most harmful of viruses. If you're a normal home user, you're not in too much danger of higher level viruses and this is the AV for you:

    http://www.filehippo.com/download_avg_an鈥?/a>

PS:for this one, use the download lastest version on the top right of the page

    2) Avast! 4 AntiVirus. Smaller, sleeker skin, average scanning speed, but reports alot of safe files as viruses, so you might need to watch out for that. 78% detection rate, but alot more complicated than most other free AVs. Use this if you are handy with a computer and you know what needs to be scanned:

    http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.ht鈥?/a>

    3) Avira AntiVirus. Simple layout, which even the most basic of users can navigate. Incredibly fast scanning, with a 90% detection rate. Not as easy on the eyes as other AVs, and you need to know what you're doing to get the more advanced features, but it is definite a candidate:

    http://www.free-av.com/en/download/index鈥?/a>

Personally I use AVG, but only because I go for the easier interface. If you are paranoid about viruses then the only real option is Avira. But if you just want normal protection, then any of the three will do it for you.

For any spyware problems, get SpyBot - Search and Destroy:

    http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirro鈥?/a>

And for protecting your computer for malware or tracking cookies, use Ad-Aware 2008 Free Edition:

    http://lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_fr鈥?/a>

All of them are free, as powerful as paid programs, like McAfee and Norton (which only has an 18% detection rate!), and don't use up as many resources.

Just boot into Safe Mode (Press F8 when turning on the computer) and run full scans

I personally use AVG, it has great detection and the menu is easy to navigate.Hope this helpsHow can I tell if my spouse has Spy ware on my PC?
Unless unusual things start happening on the PC such as certain files get corrupted or deleted and it goes slower then usual you can't really tell, best get Spybot Search and Destroy from http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.h鈥?/a> to scan the PC that should help target any spyware or viruses that the computer may have. Spybot is VERY useful when you want to protect your PC, it is the best Anti-Virus (that is free) software that I have used.
Download one of the following anti-spywares:

  • What's it mean if your spouse feels his/her own body during lovemaking as opposed to yours?

Just speculating! What's it mean if your spouse feels his/her own body during lovemaking as opposed to yours?
are you kidding me? I'm all over myself!!!

what? I'm hot leave me alone!!!What's it mean if your spouse feels his/her own body during lovemaking as opposed to yours?
I guess one could say that such an individual is practicing self-love, something that I understand Donald Trump practices regularly himself in one form or another.
I am not sure there is one specific meaning behind such behavior. However, I would guess they are tying to turn you on and it turns them on as well.
I feel on my own boobs alot during sexytime, but its no secret that I think they are awesome.
What does it mean by feel his or her own body? It's up to the man or woman doing the lovemaking.
    He is stimulating himself.
    Narcissism.
she loves her body more than yours,, some people love that when the other one touches them selves,,
i dunno...she feels better than you!
Maybe your not doing what your supposed to be doing.
it simply means that their skin is much softer than yours !
lol thats kinky they must love their body a lot lmao!
There is more fat to grab ..I would think
I do that-and it turns him on more.
I don't know, maybe they're trying to turn you on. Or they're in love with themselves?
Pay attention and learn, do what he / she's teaching

How do I know if my spouse's IPhone is a 3G model? I need to know this for sure!?

Can you tell me how I would be able to identify this by describing a difference in its appearance? How do I know if my spouse's IPhone is a 3G model? I need to know this for sure!?
The back of the 2G phone was chrome -- the new ones are not.How do I know if my spouse's IPhone is a 3G model? I need to know this for sure!?
The older iphones are flat on the bottom. The 3g's are curved. Lay the phone on a table. If you can rock it, then it's a 3G

Also, look at the top of the phone. If there's a regular looking headphone jack, it's a 3G. The older phones only worked with headphones made for the iphone (with a different shaped port)

Do you believe others (fortune tellers) when they tell you that you & your spouse are not meant to be?

Do you believe others (fortune tellers) when they tell you that you %26amp; your spouse are not meant to be?Do you believe others (fortune tellers) when they tell you that you %26amp; your spouse are not meant to be?
No ethical fortune teller will tell you something flat out bad news like that. Not without showing you how to guide your choices from that point. If there IS a danger that shows up, it's phrased carefully. Not the bomb that apparently you were dropped.

No, in that case I would not beleive what the other person had said. It was either a person with very little training under their belt or someone who's outright lying.Do you believe others (fortune tellers) when they tell you that you %26amp; your spouse are not meant to be?
Well, I have never been told such a thing myself, but, if I were I don't think I'd pay attention. I practice a type of magic that, in its most traditional form, believes all things are predestined and that any act of magic or prayer exists to alter that; so in fact, if you are to practice any kind of magic, you care nothing for what is ';meant'; to be.

As for if I would BELIEVE the fortune teller, that would depend on a few things too. If it weren't someone I knew well, and if he or she immediately followed the statement with ';but I can perform a spell that will change that, for $$$$'; then I would reject it right out; it's probably just a scam.

If someone I considered a good fortune teller like my standby (link below) said it, then I might believe it but as said before, I'd not consider it a thing to worry about.
Some people fall in love, but don't actually find their soul mate so marry someone below that without realising. IT could be possible that it's true that they're not ';meant to be'; in the sense that the soulmate was not found
if you're really asking this on yahoo answers then no, you arent meant to be.
