A business can ban anyone from their premises. If your spouse or significant other has a history of being disruptive when coming on-site to visit you, then of course the company can ban him/her.
You work there, which gives YOU the right to be on the property. That right doesn't extend to anyone else through you. Is it legal for a bussiness to ban a spouse or significant other from the establishment from work?
Absolutely , as some cause disruptions or distractions to the worker .
If they are Not am employee themselves or client ,
They can be arrested for trespass .
Most companies do not ban , unless the person is causing problems however ,
That includes phone calls to the person who is suppose to be Working .
The employee can also be terminated for personal phone calls if they are not taking care of the tasks they were hired to do .

I don't know if it's legal or not, but most places have a ';we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone'; so that probably makes it ok for them to ban certain people. I know a guy who's girlfriend was banned from coming into his work.
No, I think that may be considered discrimination
