If a spouse and service member (navy) get a legal separation, does the spouse still receive benefits?

My friends say that if my husband get a legal separation I can still get benefits until the divorce is final, but I don't know and I am having trouble finding answers. We've been married for 3 years. Any info would be great! If a spouse and service member (navy) get a legal separation, does the spouse still receive benefits?
Yes, until you get divorced you are still married to him and he is required to support you.If a spouse and service member (navy) get a legal separation, does the spouse still receive benefits?
the Navy only recognizes Single and Married. until the divorce is final he is required to provide for you...keeping in mind that if you live in MFH. HE controls when you have to move out. at any point he can say he is vacating the home and you would have 30 days to move.

Generally speaking, without a court order all they can require him to pay you is BAH. and most will only get involved if he fails to do what's right.

you keep your ID regardless until the day the divorce is final
Yes, you get your benefits until the Divorce. If you have any kids they will get a military ID card until 18 years old if your husband stays in the military that long. All you have to do is call the military base your ex - works from and go to to to the Legal staff its free they will tel you what your benefits are.
Yes you do just be careful if you start dating cause you can still get in trouble for adultery also till you are legally divorced.
Yes as long as you are married you will continue to be covered under Tricare, United Concorida, base access, etc.. He may also be required to give you partial BAH.
